Tamil cinema has witnessed some epic clashes at the box office on festival days, especially during Diwali or Pongal time. As per the reports, the emerging superstars are going to clash on Diwali in K-town. Sources say that Dhanush, Sivakarthikeyan and Karthi's films are aiming for a Diwali release in 2023.

We all know that Dhanush is currently working on the magnum opus 'Captain Miller', directed by Arun Matheswaran. The film is close to the finish line. The producers, Sathya Jyothi Films are planning to release the movie on Diwali 2023. On the other hand, Karthi is shooting for 'Japan' directed by Raju Murugan. Earlier, this film was said to release by June end.

But according to the latest reports, Karthi starrer Japan is aiming for a Diwali 2023 release. Now, sources tell us that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan' is the latest entry to the Diwali race. Ayalaan is SK's long-pending sci-fi film directed by Ravikumar. The VFX works are going for the movie now. These are the three movies most likely to clash during Diwali 2023.

A source close to the film said, "Ayalaan is a big scale sci-fi adventure and is targeting a Diwali 2023 release. The film shoot was wrapped up a while back and is presently in the postproduction stage. The team feels, Ayalaan is a perfect fit to entertain the audience in the Diwali weekend.” Let's wait for an official announcement from the respective makers.
