Sivakarthikeyan the man with the golden touch has been churning out hits regularly with his career graph on the rise each year. In recent times he has delivered back to back rupees hundred crores grossers 'Doctor' and 'Don'. His upcoming Tamil/Telugu bilingual releasing on October 21st is said to have also breached the 100 Crores mark in pre-release business alone. Similarly there is a huge demand for his films under production 'Maaveeran' and 'Ayalaan'.
Now the latest buzz in Kollywood is that Sivakarthikeyan has signed a new movie which is going to be the biopic of sensational Tamil Nadu cricketer T. Natarajan. The reports say that he has recieved the highest salary in his career for the project.
Natarajan was born as the eldest of five siblings to S. Thangarasu a weaver in Chinnappampatti, a village near Salem in Tamil Nadu. His mother for several years has been running a roadside food stall to make ends meet. The thirty year old pacer first burst on the cricket arena in the IPL playing for Kings XII Punjab in 2017 and made headlines as he was purchased for rupees three crores one of the highest amounts for a rookie. He wore the Indian colors pretty soon and shined in the International arena too. His rise from a very modest background to a star cricketer has inspired many youngsters.
Further, Natarjan has won hearts for his ambition to build a rural cricket stadium and also for finding time to coach the underprivileged in his hometown. Earlier Natarajan refused to give rights to his biopic but now it is said that he has agreed after a long thought.
Sivakarthikeyan who is an avid cricket lover and player has donned the role of a wicket keeper batsman turned coach in 'Kanaa' directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. The official announcement on the T.Natarajan biopic is expected to come in the first quarter of 2023 when the director and other details will be revealed. Stay tuned.
