Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' goes the 'Batman' way

Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming movie 'Hero' directed by P.S. Mithran is making all the right noises in the trade first with its new superhero genre which is rare in Tamil cinema and now producer KJR Studios is pushing hard with innovative marketing campaigns. First, it was a full train painted with the movie's posters and now the team has gone for a 'Batman' show literally.

Fans of the 'Batman' comics and movies would be familiar with the bat signal which is projected on to skyscraper buildings whenever Gotham city is in trouble and is in need of the Dark Knight. A similar symbol projection has started to light up a Mount Road building and S2 Cinemas as the 'Hero' symbol has been projected on them that is being lauded by fans and industry members.

'Hero' stars Sivakarthikeyan as the superhero vigilante while Kalyani Priyadarshan plays his lady love. Abhay Deol, Action King Arjun, Robo Shankar and Ivana costar. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, George C Williams is handling the camera and Ruben the editing. The family entertainer hits the screens on December 20th ahead of the Christmas and New Year Holidays.
