Rajini Murugan is the title of Sivakarthikeyan`s upcoming film directed by Ponram. The film will start its shooting by mid-August and is set in Tamilnadu. For a while, the hunt for a new face to do a female lead was on. As per the sources, it's believed that Lakshmi Menon is all set to have grabbed the role. The role comes across as an interesting and feisty one as Lakshmi requires to carry out some stunts and street fights with other women. We will have to see if Nan Sigappu Manithan` actress could pull of the stunts.

In a media interaction, sources say,” Lakshmi Menon has been confirmed to be the female lead. The role is quite different from her previous films. She will join the team in October.” Sivakarthikeyan has a role of a real estate broker in the film and Soori, co-starring with Sivakarthikeyan, will play in a comedy role. The negative role has been given to Naadodigal Director Samuthirakani.
