It is a known fact that the heroes who have the most number of female fans enjoy a long reign at the top like MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. In the olden days it was most common for the girls to have a crush on their favorite heroes and many letters written in blood used to flood the star`s homes.
In the modern digital age fans are in almost direct touch with the stars through facebook and twitter and among the young heroes it is Sivakarthikeyan who has the most number of female fans but it is remarkable that his fans see him as a brother and most of their requests to him is to wish them on their birthdays and other important dates. A strange phenomenon indeed.
