Sivakarthikeyan's family entertainer 'Don' that released on May 13th has become his career best commercially. It has been revealed that the film produced by Lyca Productions made 130 Crores overall business. 'Don' is written and directed by young debutante Cibi Chakravarthy and that is where the record comes into play. The film is the first in Kollywood history directed by a new comer to cross the massive rupees hundred crores mark. The success is so emphatic that Cibi is said to be the favorite to direct Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170' also produced by Lyca Productions.
'Don' had music by Anirudh and the ensemble cast of Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, S.J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, Kaali Venkat, Muniskanth, Bala Saravanan, Shivaangi, Rj Vijay and Soori. The film has the rare mix of hilarious comedy and heart touching emotions.
