Sivakarthikeyan's new movie 'Doctor' went on floors today with a pooja ceremony in Chennai. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of 'Kolamavu Kokila' fame with music by Anirudh Ravichander and a joint production of Sivakarthikeyan Productions and KJR Studios.

Priyanka Arul Mohan of 'Gangleader' fame is making her debut as heroine in 'Doctor' which also has Yogi Babu and Vinay in prominent roles supported by Ilavarasu, Archana and Tony. Sivakarthikeyan and Nelson Dilipukumar go back a long way when both were associated with Vijay TV and finally when this multiple genre venture that has comedy, action and sentiment with thriller elements came up the duo have finally come together.

The shooting of 'Doctor' will be held in Chennai and Goa for the next few months and the film will release during the third quarter of 2020. Meanwhile Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' directed by P.S. Mithran and costarring Arjun, Abhay Deol and Kalyani Priyadarshan hits the screens worldwide on December 20th.
