There appears to be no playing field that is beyond Sivakarthikeyan. The actor-producer-singer-lyricist is now making his full Telugu debut with the remake of his first production venture, ‘Kanaa’. The remake which is being directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, is being produced by KS Rama Rao under his Creative Commercials banner. Titled ‘Kousalya Krishnamurthy,’ the film has Aishwarya Rajesh reprising the lead role. Rajendra Prasad will be playing the role of her father. 

Fans will be excited to see Sivakarthikeyan step into the shoes of the coach again, this time in Telugu. The character ‘Nelson Dilipkumar’ received a lot of love from the audience. It is likely that the remake will be a good platform for the actor to prove himself. The teaser shows the entry scene of Sivakarthikeyan which was met with earsplitting cheers in the theatre. The original film directed by debutant Arunraja Kamaraj won several awards. Time will tell if the remake will impress to the same extent. One thing for sure though is that the film will be a hit.
