Sivakarthikeyan is stepping out of his comfort zone and exploring new ambitious ideas lately. 'Amaran' is the next milestone in his career as the actor is playing a military officer for the first time. His body transformation video and the film's teaser ravished the fans last month.

'Amaran' is the biopic drama of Major Mukund Varadarajan, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. It has been officially announced that the digital rights for the film have been acquired by the streaming giant, Netflix. The latest hot news is that Netflix bought the OTT rights of 'Amaran' for a whopping 60 crores, which is the best deal in Sivakarthikeyan's career.

The film's star cast consists of SK, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, Shreekumar and others. 'Amaran' has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar with DOP and editing handled by CH Sai and Kalaivannan respectively. Summer release plans are on the cards for this Pan-Indian biggie.
