We all know that Sivakarthikeyan's magnum opus sci-fi venture 'Ayalaan' is coming to cinemas on Pongal 2024 after a long wait. The film is slated for a grand release on 12th January but the Chennai High Court stayed the release of two movies including Ayalaan on Thursday. It is going viral now.
Vaibhav's 'Aalambana' and Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan' are produced by KJR Studios. Aalambana was scheduled to release today and Ayalaan was scheduled to release on Pongal. In a lawsuit filed by TSR company, the Chennai High Court stayed the release of these films for four weeks. KJR Studios earlier took the responsibility of the 14 crores loan taken by 24 AM Studios.
KJR Studios repaid a certain amount and still 10 crores are pending. The court ruled that the films can release if KJR Studios settles the balance amount before January 9th. The movie team is expected to clear the hurdles before the scheduled date to secure a smooth release for 'Ayalaan'. The movie is written and directed by R Ravikumar.
