'Ayalaan' is an alien sci-fi flick starring Sivakarthikeyan. It is regarded as one of the biggest films in the actor's career. Ravikumar of 'Indru Netru Naalai' fame has written and directed the movie, which was produced by KJR Studios and Phantom FX Studios.
Ayalaan, which was kicked off in 2016, has been in production since then due to extensive making and VFX works. Finally, the movie is all set to hit the silver screens on Pongal 2024. While the producers are working tirelessly towards a smooth release, a popular magazine wrote last week that the film is in trouble and the release is uncertain.
KJR Studios took to social media last night and clarified that it was a rumour and there is no problem over Ayalaan's release. They clarified in their official statement that the renowned magazine published such rumours because the makers gave exclusive content about the film to a different media house. The studio also condemned the magazine for their act and advised them to refrain from such cheap activities.
Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role along with an animated alien character while Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kellar, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Bhanupriya, Bala Saravanan and others are playing supporting roles. The teaser and first single of Ayalaan became a huge hit earlier. AR Rahman has scored music for this film.
