It has been officially announced that three films namely Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan', Karthi's 'Japan' and Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda 2' will release on November 10th which is two days before the Diwali festival. It is also said that a few more films are likely to be added to this list.
In this situation, there are reports that claim that Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayaalan' may be withdrawn from the Diwali race. The reason cited is that the film is said to have the highest number of graphics shots in Indian cinema ever, with around 4500 CG shots. This is cited as the reason for the likely postponement.
However director Ravikumar is said to have set the record straight by stating that everything is on track for the planned release date and there is no chance of a delay. The news has brought cheer to Sivakarthikeyan fans who are waiting for several years to watch'Ayalaan' touted to be India's first alien movie.
'Ayalaan' is produced by KJR Studios and 24 AM Studios with A.R. Rahman scoring the music. The film has Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh as the lead pair with Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Banupriya, Vijay TV Ramar and Isha Koppikar in the cast.
