Sivakarthikeyan is transitioning into the next phase of his career following the critical and commercial success of 'Maaveeran'. His upcoming project is the biopic drama 'Amaran', which garnered huge expectations as he plays Major Mukund Varadarajan in the film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.

The shooting for 'Amaran' was wrapped up in late May, and initial reports suggested a grand release by the end of September. Now, it's confirmed that the film will hit the screens on September 27th, a date soon to be officially announced by the producers. Raaj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures are jointly backing this action-packed venture.

'Amaran' boasts an ensemble star cast of Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, Shreekumar and others. The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by CH Sai and editing by R. Kalaivanan.
