It may be mentioned here that there was a small controversy over the Telugu dubbing rights as NV Prasad and Bellamkonda Suresh and lodged complaints against each other at AP Film Chamber.

However, the AVM Productions in an advertisement declared officially that the dubbing and distribution rights of 'Sivaji' in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa were with Bellamkonda Suresh of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions.

One had to wait and watch on how the film, which had created a sensation over the dubbing rights itself, would create another sensation after its release.
