‘Bigil’ audio launch speech lands Vivek in trouble

Thalapathy Vijay’s speech at the ‘Bigil’ audio launch function no doubt delighted his fans but irked the ruling ADMK party ministers who are taking turns to take a dig at the mass hero.  Now the Sivaji Ganesan fans have shot a condemnation letter against Vivek for his speech at the same event.

Vivek had stated that the “Nenjil Kudiyirukkum” song in the Sivaji-Vyjyanthimala starrer ‘Irumbu Thirai’ did not become famous but the song starting with the same line in ‘Bigil’ has become a chartbuster.  K. Chandrasekharan of the Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan Samooga Nala Peravai has condemned Vivek’s words pointing out that it is an insult to the legend.  He also questioned that if the old song was not a good one then why the same words and similar tune has been used now in ‘Bigil’.

Chandrasekharan has also recalled that Vivek in an earlier movie had spoofed Sivaji’s iconic scenes in ‘Parasakthi’.  He has warned the ace comedian that if he continues in the same vein of trolling Sivaji all the fans association will conduct an agitation against him.
