The problems for Vijaykant seems to be growing. Sivaji fans leader Bhoominathan has taken offence for the interview of Vijaykant. Vijaykant termed Sivaji a failure in politics. The fans are not pleased with the actor terming their late idol a failure. They have blamed Vijaykant for not taking the initiative in building the Sivaji memorial even though the govt had handed over the land to Nadigar Sangham two years back. Vijaykant is President of Nadigar Sangham.
