Directed by Shankar and produced by AVM Productions, 'Sivaji', with South Indian Super Star Rajnikant and Shriya in the lead is slated for release across the world on June 15.

However, the film was screened exclusively for a few dignitaries at the preview theatre in Prasad Labs of Hyderabad at 9.30 am on June 14. Former chief minister and Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, TD MP Yerrannaidu, Tulasidas and the presenter of the Telugu version, Bellamkonda Suresh and others attended the preview.

Later, addressing the film journalists, Mr Naidu says, 'The film was produced with a social cause. It depicts how the black money that was accruing with a few capitalists could be utilised for the well-being of the society and for the benefit of people. The director explained very precisely that no person could take money with him after his death. The dialogue 'You are not able to take with you even a rupee while dying, with which you necked me out,' touches the hearts of audiences. Director Shankar needs compliments for moulding the film in an extraordinary manner. Besides a good message, the film also has good entertainment and also attractive action scenes. When it comes to Rajnikant, there is no need for any special mention about him. He is one of my best friends and is a synonym to the word — 'style'. I liked the theme that India would soon become one of the top countries in the world. That is true. The buyers of this film could be very happy because it would be a sure hit.'

Responding to a question posed by Indiaglitz, Naidu says, 'I heartily welcome Rajnikant into the Third Front if he is interested in politics. Rajnikant could do anything if he really wants.'

Later Rajnikant says, 'Chandrababu Naidu is a very good friend of mine for the past several years. In fact, I was supposed to watch 'Chandramukhi' preview with him. But it did not happen. When the producer told me that I could watch this film with him, I happily agreed. My films are always a welcome for the Telugu audiences. I wish they would continue the same affection towards me and make this film a big hit.' Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi had watched this film on June 12 and Jayalalithaa had agreed to watch this film in the evening.'

Responding to a question, Rajnikant says, 'I am a film star. Politics is different from films. Please don't mention anything about politics here.' When Indiaglitz asked Rajnikant as to why the film had evoked so much craze, he says, 'It is all God's grace. The God is making me to act in films and I am honouring his word and doing my duty. This is all because of the greatest affection and blessings of the God.'

Before ending his speech, Rajanikanth attributed the credit to director Shankar, saying, 'Shankar is an excellent director. The total credit should go to him.' 'Sivaji' a must watch for everyone, says Naidu Directed by Shankar and produced by AVM Productions, 'Sivaji', with South Indian Super Star Rajnikant and Shriya in the lead is slated for release across the world on June 15.
