Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of director Priyadarshan and actress Lissy has acted in few Telugu movies and is set to make her Tamil debut with the movie Hero starring Siva Karthikeyan and directed by PS Mithran who had debuted with Irumbuthirai.

Even before the release of her debut Tamil movie, the actress has been rumoured to be in love with actor Pranav, who is the son of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. She had recently said that she is in love and that her parents know the person and this has created lots of speculations.

As Priyadarshan and Mohanlal have been friends who have worked in more than 30 movies together, and are family friends, the rumours are spreading that Pranav is the lover of Kalyani Priyadarshan. While Hero is releasing in December, her other Tamil movie Maanaadu has been dropped.
