The nadigar sangam elections were held yesterday, and with a total of more than 3000 members in the association, more than 1600 voted in the election booth while 1000 had cast postal votes. While actors like Vijay, Suriya and Arya arrived to the location earlier, actor Siva Karthikeyan had come by evening.

Siva karthikeyan had been shooting outside Chennai, which was the reason why he had arrived later. He said that he was saddened seeing the tweet of Superstar Rajnikanth and said that they must look into what made him unable to vote, and said that the time period for casting postal votes must have been increased.

Siva Karthikeyan said that postal votes are very important and Rajnikanth's vote is extremely important, and further said, all actors have a lot of requirements like film offers, monetary needs and everything needs to be taken care by the Nadigar Sangam, and he assured he will continue to support the association. Siva Karthikeyan is now acting in Hero and SK16.
