Actor Siva Karthikeyan was last seen on screen in Mr Local directed by Rajesh and the movie was a failure. The actor had recently produced Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja starring Rio and it was the second successful production venture from the actor after Kanaa.

Currently Siva karthikeyan is acting in two movies - the PS Mithran directorial Hero which is produced by KJR Studios and SK16 directed by Pandiraj which is produced by Sun Pictures. However before both these movies he had started working on his movie directed by Indru Netru Naalai director Ravikumar.

However this movie produced by 24 AM Studios was stuck due to financial issues, and now, the latest speculation is that talks are on and Siva Karthikeyan himself might soon take over the project under his banner Siva Karthikeyan productions and resume shooting. An official clarification is expected soon. This movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh and has music by AR Rahman.
