Earlier this week, Tollywood actor and Bigg Boss Season 1 winner Siva Balaji filed a complaint against Mount Litera Zee School, Manikonda, with the Human Rights Commission. He alleged that his children have been deprived of online classes without intimation.
"The school management feels that I and my wife (actress Madhu) are running a WhatsApp group comprising of several other parents to spread negativity against the school. That's a false accusation. The school has been exerting pressure on us to make us pay additional fees on some or the other pretext," Siva Balaji has said.
Appearing on a TV channel, Siva Balaji's wife said, "Ever since our kids were banished from online classes, we have tried to consult the management in various ways. There was no response. They have been incommunicado. We want to know why our kids have been deprived of online classes. That's why we have knocked on the doors of the Human Rights Commission."
On her part, the school's principal Indira has suggested that the management never accepts groupism. "We don't deal with groups. If you have a grouse with the school, reach out to us individually. Shiva Balaji's kids have been studying at our school for seven years. Every time, he has been personally reaching out to us. Why is he not doing it now? We can't stand this instigation," the principal said. She added that Shiva Balaji wants only 40% of the fee to be collected. "It doesn't work that way. We have always been collecting only tuition fees. Since we don't collect library fees, etc, it's our only source of income," she added.
