Ahead of the theatrical release of 'Sita Ramam' on August 5, the film's pre-release event was held at a studio in Hyderabad. The close-knit event was graced by Prabhas as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the 'Radhe Shyam' actor said that 'Sita Ramam' is the kind of film that will give the audience a good theatrical experience. He drew an analogy and said, "Just because we have a puja room at house, do we not visit temples? In the same way, just because we have access to entertainment from home, do we not go to theatres?"

The 'Saaho' superstar described Dulquer Salmaan as handsome, and also lauded Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna. He described producer Swapna Dutt as passionate. Prabhas further said that Tollywood is fortunate to have had a producer like C Ashwini Dutt.

When it was his turn, Dulquer was all praise for the minds at Vyjayanthi Movies, saying that Swapna Dutt is a wonder woman. He mentioned the key star cast of the movie, besides saying that Sumanth has done it right. The Mollywood superstar described 'Sita Ramam' as a larger-than-life movie whose technical finesse and output are superb.

Director Nag Ashwin, another guest and Vyjayanthi Movies' son-in-law, said that director Hanu Raghavapudi's work has been impressive since his debut movie 'Andala Rakshasi'. He added that 'Sita Ramam' is going to present Dulquer's peak acting. Describing Mrunal as beautiful, the 'Mahanati' and 'Project K' director also expressed confidence in the film becoming a big hit.
