Dhanush's Telugu-Tamil bilingual 'SIR' had its teaser released in July. The news is that the film is going to hit the screens in both languages on December 2.
Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas today made the release date announcement. "Mark the date. Our 'Vaathi'/'SIR' is getting ready to take classes from 2nd Dec 2022! (sic)," the banners tweeted today.
Dhanush will be seen in the role of a junior lecturer who dislikes the commercialization of the education system. Producers S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, together with director Venky Atluri, are confident about the film's success.
Co-starring Malayalam star Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Sreenu, Pammi Sai, Hyper Adhi and others, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Production Design is by Avinash Kolla.
The film is currently in the post-production phase.
Dhanush, meanwhile, is going strong. 'Thiruchitrabalam' is a blockbuster in Tamil. On September 29, 'Nene Vastunna' is going to be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil ('Naan Varuvean' in Tamil).
