Actor Jayaram has got a fresh leash of life with the new movie 'Mylanchy Monchulla Pennu' which met with appreciable commercial success. Anyhow after the movie, Jayaram is once again amidst new projects which is flocking to him in plenty. Among the list of his new projects to kick start is 'Sir C P' a film named after the effective ruler of erstwhile kingdom of Travancore
Definitely not a historical, the movie title is the acronym of the name of the lead character , Chethimattathu Philip, played by Jayaram. Due to his peculiar stylish and boastful life style the people has started calling him as 'Chethumattathu Philip. A parallel college owner, this C P specializes is earning his wards any degree that is available in any universities across the world. Sir C P has even managed to bring in a M B B S from University of California to one of his wards, by the payment of a thirty lakhs rupees.
Senior star Vijayaraghavan comes up as Narayana Pisharady, the vice principal of the parallel college run by Sir C P. In fact, he was the principal of the school when C P enrolled in the same school as a first standard student. The duo has a peculiar sort of teacher-student relationship, which continues to this day.The movie follows the life of these two and the heroine Alice played by Honey Rose.
Shajool Karayal of 'Vadakkunnathan' fame is the director of the movie scripted by S SureshBabu. Rohini,and Seema play sisters clad in typical christian Chatta and Mundu in the film. Dr.Madhu Vasudev pens the lyrics to the songs while Sejo John handles the music department.
'Sir C P ' is produced by M K Nasser in the banner of Good Lien films. The movie shot at Kuttanad and Kottayam will be on theatres by the first months of 2015.
