The shooting of the Jayaram starrer Sir C P, directed by Shajoon Kariyal, was disrupted following the protests from local activists.

It is learned that as the shooting for the film which was held at the Kottayam Corporation Office went on even after the office started functioning, the local people found it hard to continue with their regular businesses.

They started enquiring how the office gave permission for shooting the film during thick office hours when the office premises will have hundreds of people clearing many personal problems.Later it was found that the crew hasn't obtained any official papers for the shooting approval which resulted in the stoppage of shoot.

Sir C P features Jayaram in the lead with Honey Rose playing the heroine.
