'Singam II' crew is very well aware of the issues and commotions faced by big movies. They have taken all essential steps to avoid such issues in 'Singam II' and have ensured nil challenge for the title. It was during 2010, 'Singam' was released which involved studio green, big pictures and sun pictures.

Multiple parties were holding the rights of 'Singam' due to which 'Singam 2' had to face several bewildering stages. Studio green has taken the responsibility to solve all problems that might occur for 'Singam 2' title and has now finalized the same name by getting approval from the producers and distributors of 'Singam'.

On the auspicious day of Vinayagar Chathurthi, the logo was also confirmed. Suriya has now become free and is ready to start with the 'Singam 2' shooting works which will be commenced at Tuticorin next week.
