After sweeping audience as well as box office off their feet with his last ‘Chennai Express’, Bollywood’s blockbuster director Rohit Shetty has moved on to his next project - ‘Singham 2’ - which also has entered the list of most awaited film in the coming year.

Working together with his favourite star Ajay Devgn yet again, Rohit Shetty this time for the sequel of ‘Singham’ will have the actor to co-produce the film as well. Talks are that ‘Singham 2’ will be bannered under Ajay Devgn Films along with Reliance Entertainment (which earlier did the original film).

Meanwhile rumours have been on rounds about the film’s leading lady. While ‘Singham’ launched South beauty Kajal Agarwal, for its sequel the makers are yet to finalise an actress.

There was a story floating around about the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actress, Shraddha Kapoor being signed for Rohit Shetty's next film, ‘Singham 2’. However there is no truth in this news and the actress has absolutely no clue about the source of the story.

"I haven't been approached for Singham 2 and there have been no talks to this effect. I am clueless about these speculations," stated Shraddha.

The actress is currently busy preparing for her role in Mohit Suri’s ‘The Villain’, starring Sidharth Malhotra in lead.

Grapevines also had it that Kareena Kapoor, who earlier did Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ series, was also considered. But it turned out to be false. Well, let’s wait and watch for the lucky lady...
