Veteran singer SPB, who recently appeared in the Vijay TV show Super Singer, made an interesting revelation about Ajith. The singer claimed that he was the one who introduced Ajith to the cine industry, getting him a role as a hero in Tollywood through a Telugu producer.

SPB also said that his son S.P. Charan and Ajith were very close and that they did their schooling together. Ajith apparently wore Charan's shirts and shoes during his ad shoots over sentimental reasons. Praising him on his professional and personal front, the singer added that the best thing he liked about Ajith was that he never gave interviews for Magazines or TV. “It is only films and family for him now,” he concluded.

Following his most recent blockbuster Viswasam, Ajith is currently working on the long-awaited Tamil remake of the Hindi movie ‘Pink,’ titled Nerkonda Paarvai. The film will feature Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam, and Andrea Tariang in the roles of the female leads, while Ajith will be essaying the role of the main protagonist, which was played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original version.
