Shocking! Singer shot dead at close range - Is it because of love affair?

Navjot Singh an aspiring singer was found dead in a pool of blood at the Dera Bassi road in Punjab with five gunshot wounds seemingly fired from close range. The 22 year old had been talking to his mother on the phone and had informed her he was returning home when the line got cut and they never heard from him again.

The police have ruled out extortion as Navjot was not a very successful singer with very little money. The angle is love as he was spotted with a woman and cops are investigating as to who the mysterious girl was and how she could have been invovled in the killing.
