A model-singer from Haim (the band) has gone semi-nude to promote newspaper subscriptions in these harsh times.  Globally, print media sales have come down in the wake of Coronavirus.  The singer wants to support LA Times, a prominent daily in the US, by covering her nude with newspaper sheets.

"Supporting your local newspaper is honestly so important," says a reporter working for LA Times.  The model's followers have reacted variedly to the creative pic.  "Any chance you recognize the date/edition? (That was maybe the 3rd thing I looked for in this pic)," a user said.  Another wrote, "This really challenges my understanding of “local coverage” here."  

Yet another appreciated Haim for taking up the cause of supporting the print industry.  "As a former (and still occasional) newspaper reporter, I wanted to give props to you for promoting a fantastic publication, LA Times, in such an appealing manner. Seriously, thanks for doing a struggling industry this favor, and for continuing to crank out stellar tunes," he wrote.
