Singer Chinmayi has been known for singing many superhit songs in Tamil, Telugu and many other languages besides also dubbing for some of the top heroines of the industry like Trisha and Samantha. The singer has been one of the active crusaders of the Me Too movement.

Recently, a photo of Chinmayi with Nithyanandha who has been accused in several cases, went viral and later it was revealed that it was a morphed photo fixing an image of Nithyanandha along with Chinmayi and her mother. However, there were many netizens who continued to share the morphed photos.

Following this, Chinmayi has quoted one of the tweets had the said photo, and tweeted "I dont why these fans are doing this all over again after I have established that this photo is fake. Are they doing this for free or is this paid? ". After Chinmayi's tweet, the random user who used the morphed photo had deleted his tweet.
