Chinmayi's great gesture to sing in return for coronavirus relief donations

Chinmayi one of the leading playback singers and voice artist in South Indian cinema is also a social activist who is championing the Me Too movement in the region. She has devised a novel way to get donations from people which she then makes sure that the needy get benefitted during this coronavirus lockdown period.
Whenever a donor approaches Chinmayi on her social media pages she agrees to sing a personal song for them in return for a donation to the needy people. She has shared on Twiter "With the help of Dr Sharath (the son of the great 5/- Doctor Jayachandran) who identified families in need - I was able to sing and raise enough money to arrange for groceries for 200 families in North Madras. Huge thanks to all the great souls who donated for this cause..
Praises are being showered from all quarters for Chinmayi who is said to be singing at least a 100 songs a day but never gets tired of it as her focus is on the people affected by the COVID 19 pandemic to get some relief. The eminent entertainer has also contributed a large amount from her savings as well.
