Director Shankar is canning some important scenes for 2.0` in an OMR IT Park with Superstar Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey. Akshay Kumar plays the chief antagonist while Adhil Hussain and others are also in the cast . Singer/Actress Maya is doing an important role in the film.

Maya a Koothupattarai alumni played an important role Vanavil Vaazhkai` directed by James Vasanthan and is now also a part of Jyothika`s Magalir Mattum` directed by Brahmma. The youngster has revealed that hers is an important role in 2.0`.
