A day after the Government of Andhra Pradesh said in its GO that the Amaravati Capital City Startup Area project stands closed, the Singapore Government too has notified the closure for its part.
"The closure is based on mutual consent between the GoAP and the Singapore Consortium," the notification says.
The Consortium was appointed by the AP government in the year 2017. The Jaganmohan Reddy government decided not to go ahead with the project due to "other priorities".
In its official note, the Singapore government said that it is very much interested in opportunities in AP as well as other States in India because of the size and potential of the market.
