Singamuthu is all smiles whenever he talks about his son Vasan Karthik. “He made his acting debut with ‘Maamadurai’. He is sincere and dedicated. Hence I am hopeful that he would shine bright in films,” the comedian says.

Claiming that the up and coming actor is an engineering graduate, Singamuthu says, “Vasan Karthik is currently acting in a film titled ‘Ayyan’. He is playing a unique role in the movie.”

He adds: “Besides, my son has been roped in to act in three new projects. He was well equipped in acting, dancing and martial arts even before he made his acting debut. His sole aim is to establish himself as a talented actor.”

Singamuthu also reveals an interesting fact about him. He says he is a spiritual orator and his lectures in temples on Thevaram, Thiruvasagam and Thirupugazh earned him accolades from various quarters. “Spiritual orations give me immense satisfaction,” he says.
