Singam: No hurry for Hari

Denying reports that his 'Singam' starring Suriya is being shaped up in a fast phase as the actor has to move on to other projects, filmmaker Hari says there is no urgency to complete the shoot soon.

'I have been making ‘Singam’ like how I made my earlier ventures. As far as I know, Suriya at present doesn't have any commitment other than Singam,' he says.

On the film, the director says, 'Suriya is playing a straight-forward police officer Durai Singam. The movie comes with a message that violence would pave way to more violence and end up in more and more violence.'

Anushka who was shooting with Vijay for ‘Vettaikkaran’, has recently joined Suriya for the shoot of 'Singam' in Karaikudi in south Tamil Nadu, say reports.

Suriya and Hari are back after 'Aaru' and 'Vel' in Studio Green's Singam, produced by Gjnanavel Raja. The others in the cast are Prakash Raj and Vivek. The film will have music by Devi Sri Prasad.
