Sindhu Tolani is the heroine of the Alaiadikuthu. According to insiders the film is based on the life of Jaylakshmi the infamous woman who had links with the police force and also the Sankaracharya incident relating to Swarnamalya. The director Kalimuthu has mixed the two hot happenings and created a story. Sindhu Tholani plays the role of a woman who is sexually abused by a swami. To take revenge she uses the official machinery to bring the SwamiÂs misdeeds to book. Sindhu has only short skirts and tight tops as costumes. When she heard that the director was looking for a girl for an item number she introduced her sister Neha who does an item number. Apart from this Prabha Reddy another glam doll is in the film. Sindhu Tholani has also done an item number in Arjun- Sundar C film `ChinnaÂ.
