Simran's heart still ticks for 'Amma'

The one sought-after actress made a splash in politics by vigorously campaigning for the AIADMK and its supremo J Jayalalithaa in the recently concluded State Assembly elections.
Though the elections are over and that Jayalalithaa and her party suffered a defeat, Simran is confident that she would bounce back.
"I am still a sympathizer of Amma," Simran said on Tuesday.
She was in Chennai as part of a commercial launch of a consumer product.
Addressing mediamen, the actress said, "I accept people's verdict. But the defeat is temporary and we (AIADMK) would bounce back."
