Simran Natekar a Marathi girl was just eight years when she took part in the government of India advertisement that is on silver screen before the start of the film. On Saturday afternoon Simran joined the team of her debut Kannada film ‘Kajal’ to address the media. It is such a great coincidence that director of ‘Kajal’ has instructed his team members not to smoke on the sets while shooting for the film.
Simran popular as ‘No Smoking Girl’ has so far acted in 150 advertisements, four TV shows, a few Gujarati and Hindi films in interesting roles. For the main reason behind accepting Kannada cinema is after watching ‘Bahubali’ and Bahubali conclusion. She made it a point to appear in good subject South Indian films. This is the one from Simran. She is a foreign returned girl with her family to a village. The life here is having interesting twists and turns. Santosh of four Kannada films, son of producer Anekal Balaraj is Simran counterpart in the film.
