Actress Simran who was ruling the roost as the top heroine in South Indian cinema at late 90s and the dawn of the new millennium settled in married life with Deepak Bhaga in the year 2004. Post marriage she has been acting in supporting characters that she finds interesting. Over the years she has acted in quite a films. Last she was seen in director R.Parthiban's 'Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga'.

Now it has been revealed that Simran has acted in in director Mysskin's 'Thupparivaalan' which already boasts off a stellar star cast that includes Vishal, Anu Emanuel, Andrea, Prasanna, Vina, K.Bhagyaraj and Thalaivasal Vijay.

Simran just now addressed the gathering at the teaser launch function of the film that is being held in Chennai. The 'Vaali' actress revealed that she shot for three days for her role in the film and she loved working with Vishal and Mysskin. The makers have hitherto concealed the fact that Simran is acting in the film and this has been revealed only by making her attend the teaser launch function.

It is to be noted that Simran is also acting in director Ponram's upcoming film with Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha in lead roles.
