Simran had been the top heroine of the mid 90s till early 2000s, and had starred with almost all top heroes of the industry, including Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith, Suriya, and had missed the opportunity to pair with Superstar Rajnikanth in Chandramukhi, but had recently compensated for that miss as well.

Simran was recently seen on screens in Karthik Subbaraj's Petta where she was paired with Superstar Rajnikanth, and completing her circle of starring alongside all top heroes of Tamil. Her ravishing looks as Mangalam in the movie, and her graceful dance moves reminded the audience of vintage Simran.

Now, with the current trend on social media being the 10 years challenge, with celebrities and public posting their images 10 years before and now, Simran too joined the challenge, but with a twist. The actress had posted a 20 years challenge on her social media accounts, with images of her from Thullatha manamum Thullum (1999), Aintham Padai(2009) and Petta(2019) with the caption "My kind of 20 year challenge and 10 year challenge", and one must acknowledge the fact that the pretty actress has never really aged, and is glowing more than ever now.
