For me Dr.Vishnuvardhana has many similarities to Dr. Amitabh Bachchan informed Sachin the actor and director of Marathi and Hindi stage and films at the well attended 'Ekadantha' audio release at Atria Hotel in Bangalore. Apparently this is the maiden film of Sachin in Kannada based on his novel 'Chal Na Gada'. This is the 17 th directorial venture of handsome looking Sachin.

Sachin appreciating the wonderful qualities of Dr.Vishnuvardhana in his speech said he had worked with Amitabh Bachchan too. The qualities I had seen in Amitabh are also in Dr.Vishnuvardhana the superstar of Kannada cinema. Amitabh is No 1 in Hindi cinema and Dr.Vishnu is No.1 in Kannada cinema, both have tremendous experience, both have vast fan following of family audience and children, both have been awarded the honorary doctorate Sachin explained the similarities in the two top stars in his address.

I would like to add to the purse of Kannada film industry he pointed out with the team effort shaping up very well in his debut Kannada film direction 'Ekadanta' a comedy cum emotional film starring Dr.Vishnuvardhana, Ramesh Aravind, Prema in the lead roles.
