Simbu's 'Osthe' will be remade in Kannada, with Ganesh, one of the leading stars of Sandalwood, playing the lead role. Hitherto a lover boy, Ganesh is excited about taking the action route.

"Though it is a police story, the hero is not the usual cop. He is daring and different. I love doing this role," says Ganesh, who will start shooting for the movie from January.

'Osthe' itself is a remake of Bollywood super hit 'Dabangg', it may be recalled. The film was also made in Telugu as 'Gabbar Singh', with Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
