It was recently announced that the shooting of Simbu’s much-awaited political-thriller Maanaadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu, will begin by the end of this month in Malaysia.
Earlier this month, Venkat Prabhu, who is joining hands with Simbu for the first time ever, announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja was on board as the music composer for the movie. The latest news is that Bigg Boss Tamil 2 contestant Daniel Annie Pope has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film, according to sources. Simbu recently underwent a training program in London to lose weight for the project.
Maanaadu, produced by Suresh Kamatchi, will have Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead as well, while the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalized.
