Actor Simbu had recently wrapped up his Suseenthiran directed Eeswaran and resumed shooting of his long delayed movie Maanaadu. The movie directed by Venkat Prabhu is currently being shot in Pondicherry and has planned a 45 days schedule.

Now it has been announced that the first look poster of the political entertainer Maanaadu will be released on November 21at 10:44 AM. The announcement poster has Simbu as Abdul Khaaliq doing a Namaz, amidst a riot where people are seen running.

Produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House productions, Maanaadu also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, SA Chandrasekar, Bharathiraja, Karunakaran, Manoj, Premgi and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Richard M Nathan.
