The second look of Simbu’s ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ is breathtaking! – Red Hot Update

It is already known that Silambarasan TR is currently shooting for ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ under Gautham Vasudev Menon’s directorial. Indiaglitz had already reported that the first schedule of the VTK shooting was wrapped up a couple of weeks ago and there is a delay in the second schedule.

Meanwhile, the second schedule of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu went on the floors yesterday. Now, the latest update is that the makers have unveiled the second look poster of the film. The new poster featured Simbu sitting with his friends in a congested room. The setup looks like an iron workshop where STR seemed to deeply thinking about something. The second look poster became viral and doing rounds on the internet now. Marathi actress Kayadu Lohar is likely to play the female lead in this rustic thriller.

Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar is said to be playing the mother of STR in VTK. Radhika and Simbu’s photos from the sets also went viral a few days ago. The multi-faceted actor has lost further 15 kgs to fit in the character in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Produced by Ishari Ganesh of Vels Films International, A.R. Rahman scores music for this film while Thamarai pens the lyrics. VTK marks the fourth movie of the dynamic combo STR-GVM-ARR-Thamarai.

On the other hand, STR is all set to start shooting for ‘Pathu Thala’ from September 5. It is the Tamil remake of the Kannada movie ‘Mufti’ and also stars Gautham Karthik. ARR is scoring music for STR’s Pathu Thala too. And, the star is likely to begin shooting for the comedy spin-off ‘Corona Kumar’ from September 25. He completed the shooting of the political thriller ‘Maanadu’ last month.
