Simbu’s ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ was released in theatres on September 15 and the film has been receiving a lot of positive reviews. The film has opened with huge box office numbers and it is expected to increase at the weekends.

The film officially made an earning of Rs 10.86 crore on day 1 opening and on day 2, Friday and the film made a box office collection of Rs 8 crore excluding early morning collections..The movie is now strongly entering the weekend and it is expected that the movie will reportedly be making more than Rs 50 crore in the first week of its release.

The Telugu dubbed version of the film titled Life of Muthu will be released today, so that will be added to the collections as well. The four-day extended first weekend of the film is expected to reach around Rs. 31-32 crores approx.

‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ features Simbu, Siddhi Idnani, Radhika Sarathkumar and Neeraj Madhav in important roles. The story revolves around a young boy who gets stuck at Mumbai and eventually becomes a Gangster.
