“There are many people to honour and help students who score high marks in public examinations. But hardly there is anyone to reach out to those who failed in exams,” said STR aka Silambarasan.

The actor said this while presenting cash prizes to toppers of twelfth and tenth standard exams, at a function organised by Ramesh, producer of his forthcoming film ‘Osthi’, in Chennai on Saturday evening.

“So I have decided to reach out to those who scored less marks in exams,” Simbu said and added: “My aim is to make them on par with others and ensure that all is not lost. I will soon reveal my plans as to how I am going to help them.”

‘Osthi’ director Dharani, actor-filmmaker-choreographer Raghavendra Larencce and members of the movie’s cast and crew took part in the function. Toppers from all over Tamil Nadu were honoured at the event.
