Kamal Haasan in recent times tasted tremendous success hosting the six seasons of 'Bigg Boss Tamil' and his comeback movie 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Post that he is not only acting in several biggies but also producing high budget films with other heroes under his home banner Raaj Kamal Films International. Kamal's upcoming films as producer include Sivakarthikeyan's 'SK 21', Simbu's 'STR 48', and talks are said to be on for the Rajini-Lokesh Kanagaraj project, Dhanush-Nelson Dilipkumar project and Vignesh Shivan-Pradeep Ranganathan project.

Fans of both the superstars of different generations have commented that there is a lot in common between them having started their careers as child artiste to their talent in various fields.
'STR 48' a period action entertainer is expected to go on floors in August this year with a multi starcast. Talks are said to be on with a few Bollywood actresses including Deepika Padukone as well as Keerthy Suresh from the South.
