Simbu is one of the few heroes in Indian cinema who has an enviable fan following that is intact irrespective of whether he is acting in films or not or whether his films become hit or flop.  Recently the young superstar had a major setback as producer Suresh Kamachi announced that he has been removed from an upcoming film 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu.  Suresh Kamachi in the meantime has started shooting for a new movie directed by controversial youtube reviewer Blue Sattai Maaran.

Simbu has been holidaying in Thailand for the past several weeks and according to sources close to him is returning to Chennai on September 21st.  It is said that he has plans of calling for the office bearers of his fans clubs as soon as he returns with the agenda of going for a complete revamp in the management and also initiate several social work.

Other sources have also suggested that Simbu is likely to complete shooting his portions for 'Maha' costarring ex-girlfriend Hansika Motwani and an untitled film costarring Gautham Karthik and produced by Studio Green Gnanavelraja.  He is also expected to sign a few more films and the updates are expected by next week.
